Exercise 2.6

Pareidolia

Reading the information in the folder, I was intrigued by this term and wanted to do a little more research about the phenomenon. I particularly looked into Keith Larsen and Justin Sutcliffe’s work.

Collecting examples

Like the previous exercise where I became hyperaware of my surroundings and objects, this exercise made me look more carefully around me for faces. There were some that immediately jumped out and some that I had noticed before around my house. It was important to keep in mind that the faces could be as simple as two eyes and a mouth, or they could be a more specific creature or have a particular shape.
