Artists’ sketchbooks
I kept my visual and written research in a separate book for the artists I looked into and added to this throughout Part 1. My aim was to focus specifically on their sketchbook process and how this compared to my own, or how it resonated with me. I looked at the artist, the content, the materials they used and then reflected on what I could learn from their process and how this connected with my own practice. Also, after studying each artist, I observed my own surroundings and produced something in a similar style based on my everyday.
